I've been working on a fancy crochet blanket to give as a gift so I got this set of blocking squares. I've got several pieces pinned to squares right now and they are working out great. There are lines printed on each block to help line up the edges so they are straight, which is a huge help to me as I tend to get things cockeyed. The squares seem well made and snap together securely--I even moved a large piece made up of 4 blocks from the set and they stayed locked together while I shifted it from one table to another. I feel pretty secure, therefore, about how well they will hold up, and they are nice and thick so Idon't worry about jabbing the pins into a table.They came in a plastic carrying case with a handle. The case is light and easy to carry, but I am a little wary that the case may not last a really long time. But I've had it for a while now and it's still working, so I may be worried over nothing. Anyway, the squares themselves are well made and work very well, so I'm really happy with them.
