For starters, this item is really cute, that's why I bought it. It is 100% cotton, but feels much stiffer - a little like hemp. . I'm hoping a rinse with a bit of fabric softener will make it softer for a small baby and also allow it to be stretched a little while damp. I have seen a similar product that is lined with a soft cotton knit, which is better because the clip on the flower is between the lining and the knitted cap, so the metal doesn't come in contact with the baby's scalp.This is very reasonably priced, so even if is only used for photo purposes, it is well worth it..Love the hatI purchased this hat for my 4 month old daughter. The hat is beautiful and nicely made. The only reason I give this product 4 stars out of 5 because it is too big for my daughter (and she isn't a small child, she wears 6 month size clothes).Really cute but really small.I use this versatile little beanie as a coozy for my beaker shaped bong that sits on my glass coffee table. It's the perfect size and keeps them from smashing against eachother. The color is rich and I love the dense but soft knit. The flower ties in the colors of my living room.This hat was really cute, it looks exactly like the picture which is good, but the band part that goes around the head has no stretch. I tried putting it on my 2 month old (13lbs) but it has no way of staying on since its not elastic that will grip.Seems tight fitting, but not giving as gift until Christmas. Bought for 4 and 6 month granddaughters. Hope they fit.Omg!! Prettiest hat ever. Quality is perfect. Just not fitting my newborn granddaughter. It's on the large size. Can't wait for it to fit.
