The dress wasn't very flattering, if you have a bigger chest it will not lay correctly. I'm short (5'0") so it felt a little long on me. The fabric is cheap and not breathable. Impossible to remove stains from so only got one wear out of it before getting a small red stain on the front.Dress is super cute. I'm 5 ft and 150 lbs and bought a medium. Fits larger than expected as i felt and looked like i was wearing a pretty bag. That may be overcome with a belt. The material was soft but made swishing sounds like a parachute. Because of the sound of the material I decided to return.First let me say for the quality and the price this is a great dress! I purchased the 2X in navy for an upcoming beach wedding, planning to dress it up with a cute belt, wedge shoes and accessories- it’ll be perfect!I am 5‘2“ approximately 225 pounds and I wear a 42DD. The dress is pretty tight in the chest but I can deal with it. Definitely order a bigger size if you’re concerned about fitting in the bust because there is not any ”give” with the material. Below the chest it’s pretty loose but that can be easily fixed with a cute belt! The bottom of the dress is about mid-thigh on me.The only other thing to note is be mindful of color. The top and bottom of the dress seem to differ just slightly but it’s not overly noticeable. If you get white or a very dark color it’s probably not a problem but if you get something in between don’t be surprised if it’s slightly different.The quality seems so so I’m definitely going to hand wash it by itself because it looks like it might bleed or shrink. But if you’re looking for something to wear over a bathing suit or even to dress it up for a couple of spring/summer occasions it’s perfect!Also some people complained about it not having a tag to tell which is the front and which is the back but I don’t think it matters based on fit ;)I ordered this dress in pink. I'm 5'7 around 135 lbs. The dress color, style, and fit was as pictured in the ad. I also went with the reviews and ordered a size smaller, which worked out. The length ended around mid thigh with the crochet fringe hitting just above my knee. I'd be concerned bending over, but the dress was just barely long enough. A gust of wind though and it's all over, everyone will see your London France. I'd wear shorts underneath to be safe.The material is okay. The tag reads, "100% Rayon." It feels soft, and there's a liner, so it's not sheer. I didn't find any loose threads on the crocheted areas or the seams. It seems as though it is well made.The main problem I had with this dress was the care instructions. "Machine Wash, Cold Gentle, With Like Colors, Non-Chlorine Bleach When Needed, Tumble Dry Low, Remove Promptly, Iron Low." I ran it through the Hand Wash cycle in cold water. I DID NOT put this in the dryer; I hung it to dry to make sure it wouldn't shrink. . .Well . . . it shrank anyway . . . a lot.After washing, the dress is now crotch length with the fringe hitting above the mid thigh. It's basically a long tunic shirt now. It's not flattering as a shirt.I give it 2.5 stars because I liked the style, but it is almost too short to begin with, the care instructions are inaccurate, and it can shrink. I wouldn't recommend this dress for taller people because it will probably be too short.I can see where other reviewers recommended ordering a size smaller because it is a loose fitting dress, and it could potentially hang too low in the chest if it were any larger.I disliked the length of this dress, it was too long.Love this dress. Used it as a Viking witch for the Renaissance festival. Will wear it again out on the town or something. Super cuteI planned to do a "beach photo shoot" and use the photos as Christmas gifts this year. I wanted to find a dress that would go well with my daughter's dress (also purchased on Amazon). I didn't want it to look "too young" (since I'm 50! lol!), but I also didn't want to look too matronly (since I feel like I'm still a young and fun 50). This dress fit the bill! It worked out beautifully! It may be a little short for some people's taste - so take note of the length; however, I'm 5'4" and look better in a short dress as opposed to a longer one. I'm 135 lbs, and I ordered a medium. I could have gotten away with a small, but was worried the chest may be too tight. The medium worked perfectly for me.Everyone that has seen the pictures has commented how much they love our dresses (both dresses and my boy's shirts were all purchased on Amazon). The dress arrived quickly, and really wasn't too terribly wrinkled. It did need a steamer and I ironed it. I have no complaints. I'm really happy with how the dress fit and it photographed well. Definitely can't be beat for the price!I ordered the pink. It can’t wrinkled and was very large. I ordered a small. Once it was washed ( and yes I put it in the dryer to try shrink it) and it came out beautiful. It did shrink just enough to be loose but not look like a moo moo.
