I'm in my 50's now and have been crocheting since high school. I've tried several bags but few were designed to meet my needs. I like bags that stand up on their own, can be easily traveled with (we're avid campers and I love crocheting in the evening in front of a war fire), doesn't require a lot of messing with to use the yarn and keeps the yarn protected. I like storage spaces within or on the bag for my large variety of needles. This one even has a zipper pocket on the front to store my yarn needles! I absolutely love that his one can be carried by a handstrap or shoulder strap. Also, this one is made of a beautiful purple-ly pink floral pattern that is pvc coated canvas to prevent dampness or bugs from creeping into the bag! Yikes! This bag is large enough to fit several skeins of yarn, which is great because I usually work on projects that are of several colors. This is the ultimate organizer for all my crocheting items.The yarn organizer is round for maximum space use when storing round skeins of yarn; there's now wasted space. The zipper, at the top, in located high enough so that you can open it to add a yard and not have the other's fall out while trying to replace one. There's two edge sewn openings across the top to allow for several colors of yarns to all be accessed at the same time, easily, without having to leave the bag open to use them all when working on a project that requires multiple colors.This also comes with a matching, smaller zipper case to hold extras you may want to keep handy for use because it clasps onto the bag and can be removed. Vinyl isn't my favourite material overall, but this is particularly sturdy and would appear to be quite durable. Neither the small case nor the larger bag well-accommodates my larger needles, but I'm fine storing those in a separate holder. This bag easily holds all of the yarn needed for multiple projects, as well as books/instructions, needles, crochet hooks, rulers, scissors, and everything else I could possibly need. The circular and slotted openings at the top are perfect for feeding out the yarn as I knit or crochet and keep it from becoming tangled in the process. I wouldn't say no to some interior pockets, but overall the design is extremely well thought out, practical, and unusually attractive. I love the shape and the fact that it is soft enough to accommodate bulky or off-sized items; the carrying handles are ingenious, and the separate smaller case is ideal for all of my stitch holders and crochet hooks. I LOVE my bag and would highly recommend it to anyone considering its purchase. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed in this product!I LOVE this bag. I just got it yesterday but I am so pleased! The biggest things I was looking for was something big enough for my crochet blankets, and I wanted something with zippered pockets for all my small supplies. I create and sell crochet mermaid tail blankets so I really needed something that would help keep my 1 year old out of my yarn and something I could easily take on the go all the time, since crocheting is literally my second job. It came with the shoulder strap, the supply case and I got an email for a free crochet eBook after my purchase. I recently learned NOT to crochet directly from the skein, and it has saved my life. The balls of yarn are tangle free inside the bag, I even bought a yarn bowl to sit in the bottom of the bag to keep everything mess free. I am super pleased! I was definitely considering a cheaper bag, but for the extra size and the pockets and etc, it was definitely the right choice for me. And it's cute too! I've already gotten tons of compliments.This is every crafters dream. There's plenty of room to store supplies, current projects, accessories, extra yarn etc. There are 2 openings at the top that you can pull your working yarn from while it's inside the bag. Each opening has a circular shape for the yarn to to be fed out while you're working, and can allow for 2 users at once as one of pictures demonstrates. The included pouch is long enough for standard knitting needles with room to spare. There is an included shoulder strap for easy carrying and a handle between the 2 openings on the top. 2 different ways to carry it. I keep the shoulder strap inside the bag when not in use. The outside has a zipper pouch and 5 open slots of varying size to fit whatever you may need. The different shades of purple are really pretty. The picture really doesn't do it any justice. The material is vinyl-like and sturdy, but also water resistant to protect all your stuff. This also makes it easy to clean: just a quick wipe and you're all set.I'm absolutely delighted with my bag. I've bought and seen so many and I'm never happy with them. I thought I'd give this one a try before giving up and making my own. I'm so glad I did.It's very spacious, I've got plenty of space for all my things, which include my notebook, yarn, accessories, etc.It's really pretty, I'm the envy of all my friends in my knitting circle, it's easy to carry around with a small handle and a long shoulder strap, and when you set it down it still remains upright.For the price it's very well made and excellent value for money.I love it.The biggest plus of this bag is it stores a lot, but it’s feels and looks plasticky and cheap and was dearer than my previous bags bought recently which were £10 less. I thought it would be a canvas type of fabric, I like the colour which is why I bought it, so maybe you could look at fabric types, and make it more affordable so people like me who do a lot of knitting etc. would buy more. Also the little bag with it only fits 30mm needles, fortunately I bought a separate longer bag for all the many other things like stitch holders, and large eyed needles for sewing up.Great bag, sturdy and nice & roomy.Carry handle & shoulder strap, slots in the top so that wool can remain securely in the bag whilst you knit/crochet.One zipped pocket on the front of the bag, plus some slim pockets for scissors, measuring tape, pencil, etc.My only gripe is that it isn't an inch or two taller, so that my knitting needles could fit neatly inside (they don't fit inside the detachable pencil case-type pouch either)But apart from that, this is a great bag and lovely to look at too.I purchased this as a birthday gift for my son's partner and was well received. I took a good look at it before sending it on, and it was exactly as described. In appearance it was good quality and well finished. This was not the cheapest on offer, but you get what you pay for. Being a knitter myself, I could see that it would be an excellent storage unit for 'works in progress'. I certainly wished that I could purchase one for myself.Lovely bag with lots of pockets, to use the separate kneedle bag you will need the short length needles rather than the long I personally prefer, but it's got the holes in the top for your yarn to come through, keeping the ball in the bag while you work. Iv even put a cone of yarn in it, fits really well so very spacious.
