These shorts fit pretty well and will work for my purpose (I wanted something to pair with cotton gauze t-shirt and huaraches). From a distance they are cute with a simple halter or dressy t-shirt for summer parties. Up close, they are a little cheap looking and I think the elastic inside the waistband casing will probably end up twisting. But for the price (under $10), they are a good value and I'm looking forward to wearing them on vacation!Love all the lace and color choices. Sizing is reality, not Hollywood. I have purchased 4 pair already. Perfect length, sexy but not revealing.I bought an xl based on measurements and reviews. Not a good choice. I definitely could have sized down but I didn’t like the shorts either so I didn’t bother with ordering a smaller pair. The shorts I received had two layers. The inside layer was a solid black material and the outer layer was lace detail. This would be fine but the two were not sewn together or fashioned together at all. The inside layer would ride up and the Lacey material would just hang down. Not a flattering look. The fit was very odd as they were too large for the sizes, very high rise (but May just be because they were too large) and the length was much longer than I would prefer. I returned them the next day. They also didn’t look much like the product picture either.These are great shirts for the price. Cute, fits well, not too tight, not to short and not to long. I’m 5’7” 130 pounds small is a great fit. Only negative is that the elastic waist band was not stitched to the short waist when inserted, so when it gets washed it will roll and not look as it did originally. A few stitches will take care of it, if you know how to do that so it still looks right. However given the price I’m still happy with the shirts overall.Depending on the design you get the shorts are either too small or extremely high waisted. To start, I'm normally between a large and an xl depending on the brand and fit. I needed some comfortable shorts for vacation so i read up on this brands sizing....I ordered 8 different pair. I started with 2 pair of 2xl they were sooo big and game up to my bra so I had to return. Then I ordered one 1x one xl and one large: the 1x was again huge, the xl was still extremely high waisted (which isnt advertised, and the large fit like a medium (couldn't get it past my thighs). I then decided to just order 3 more colors in the xl and roll down the high waist since they were soft enough. Well....I get the other colors and becuase I picked other disigns offered, the fit is differnt.... they fit like mediums.. so now after ordering and trying on 8 pairs of shorts, I am left with 2 that dont fit properly for vacation and 3 trips to UPS to return the other 6 pair...almost feel like they owe me some gas money.I purchased a black pair which I like, but the seem to run a bit small. I’m 6 months postpartum so am hoping to still lose some weight, so I kept that pair but also purchased a white pair in the next size up. I guess I should assume anything white is semi see-through but these are pretty bad. They’re comfortable so I’ll probably use them as a bathing suit cover upFits well, fabric is nice feeling. Not too tight. Might recommend a larger size- it runs a little small. I’m 5’2” and 175 pounds, I got some curves, but i wear a size 12 usually so I assumed the chart that said 12-14 could wear a large. I can fit them just might have been more comfortable if I went with an xl.I love these shorts more than any others I own. So cute and comfortable!There ain't a shade o' undies that wouldn't show under this for me. I DO have a darker skin tone though. So... maybe if you were very pale..? Oh well. Would have returned except you have to pay for your own postage.
