Like the longer handle. Beautful craftsmanship!Yes it is a nice crochet hook, smooth and ergonomic. I find it is not as slick as an aluminum one, but has a bit of a drag because it is acrylic.But I feel is is well made, attractive and is pleasant to crochet with.I like the weight and how it sits in my hand, the hook is different for me, so hard to get used to. It's so pretty though.It is a very lovely furl but it rolls on flat surfaces so after it rolled off the coffee table the third time it broke. I ordered another one; from now on I'll make sure I secure it when not in use.I love love love the feel of this hook in my hand. Unfortunately the head is too shallow and makes it hard to keep the yarn on it. The size is also off as this barely measured 5mm but is labeled as 5.5mm.If they could combined their handle with a Susan Bates style head (see last picture for comparison) it would be perfect. If you are used to the Boye style heads than you won't have trouble with these as they are a little deeper.If these were cheaper (like $5 each max) I would be willing to retrain my crocheting and deal with the incorrect sizing as the handles really feel that good.Was a bit skeptical that it might not be real, but it is. The product came faster than anticipated and very well packaged! Very smooth transaction! Thank you!This is a hook is a joy to use it is so comfortable, has a deep hook so yarn stays in better, so smooth all over nothing ever catches and run so smoothly thru yarn. I was put off by the price - but now I‘d rather have fewer hooks and adjust pattern and yarn to fit hook than use anything else. Just can’t say enough bout this beautiful hookLove the Furls. It is light and lovely to use. It glides thru the yarn and easy to grip.
