These are very cute, but they do have a design issue. Due to the cable knit style of material, they stretch out once you put them on, and they don't shrink back down when removed.Upon receipt, I initially tried them on my bare legs. Once I zipped up my boots, I walked from my bedroom into the kitchen (maybe 35 feet)...and with each step they seemed to slip a little bit further down my legs, until they were finally around my ankles inside the boots. While I do have somewhat thin legs (approx. 13 3/4 inch bare calves) the cuffs would require some sort of inner elastic band, or an interior silicone non slip material, in order to stay put on bare skin. I then tried them over a pair of skinny jeans. The cuffs stretched out even further, but they did stay put far better over the denim material, than on bare legs. I did notice that they tend to ride up a bit in the back, and down in the front, but with minor adjustments during the day they would look fine.One other issue was that I purchased the "white" shade in these boot cuffs, but was disappointed when they arrived in a more ivory tone. The actual color could best be described as vanilla, and the lace at the top is more of a light beige.They definitely give your boots a cute little pop of color and interest, and they are soft against your skin; for those reasons I give them three stars. Due to the lack of staying power, and the obvious color issue, I deducted two stars. If you have thicker calves, these might be worth a try, but I suspect that (because of the soft material) they will likely slide down any bare leg, no matter the size. If you plan to wear these with jeans, they will stay put far better. Also, just be aware that the color may not be what you are seeing on your screen. I cannot speak to the other colors, but the white is definitely not white! Hope this helps!A little tight around my big calves, but so cute I'm ordering more colors!Wish they were more stretchy.
