This little dress is cute but short. For the price it is a good bargain. It is sheer on the bottom. The length would be perfect for someone under 5'5".As a full figured girl, I tend to steer clear from dresses that might make me look boxy, and don't have more of a structured fit. But, with the hot weather, I decided to take a chance on this one; I'm so happy that I did. It's loose-fitting, but because it's so feminine, I don't mind it not accentuating my curves. Actually, depending on how I move, you can kind of see glimpses of them anyway. Also, I prefer my dresses to hit mid-knee or right below; for me that's short, but still safe and flirty. This dress is that perfect length. I should mention that I have larger arms too (they sort of round out and aren't an even size from shoulder to elbow...if that makes sense), so I have to choose a size to accommodate that. After reading other reviews about the loose fit, I opted to go a size down and it that was perfect!Other things you may want to know:- Flowy and light weight- Is cuter in person than in the photo (I think it might be the curves, AND that I opted to go a size smaller than normal)- Is a little lower in back than in the front, which is good if you have a big butt- When you spin it doesn't go up in a full circle, but be sure to hold on to it if it's windy out- The spaces between the buttons on the chest area are naturally open, and adds flirty innocence- It's not shear, but you can see silhouette(on a hot day, I can't make myself care that much, but wear appropriately colored undies...that is, unless you're attempting to make a statement. lol)I will update this review if anything changes.Beautiful, Comfortable, Perfect Fit, Soft....absolutely Love it!!! Can look both Casual or Dressy, depending on what shoes you wear!! It does smell like Dye when you first open the bag, but I rinsed it out several times and the water turned BLUE (I ordered the Dark Denim) and my hands and sink turned Blue too!!! But the dress stayed the same beautiful color, smell gone and the dye washed right off my hands and sink with soap and water and the dress dried quickly after I hung it up to air dry. It came out beautiful and will probably need to be hand washed a couple more times to get out the excess dye. It is SO soft and comfortable....wear it on days you want to look great but don't feel so great....it is SO loose, but also flattering as it covers any flaws you may have...!!! My new favorite!!! Reminds me of 1973!!!!As other reviews stated, this dress isn’t white it’s ivory. I was prepared for that to be the case before it arrived so I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered this to wear for family photos. It looked beautiful in our pictures, and the photographer told me multiple times that she loved it. I’m 5”6 and it goes down to my knees. It is very flowy so I would recommend sizing down. I usually wear a medium, but I ordered a small after reading reviews. It was still VERY flowy on me and I have curves. It is see through. Nothing a long cami or slip won’t fix. All in all this dress was exactly what I anticipated and I really like it! I may order it in other colors.ComodoFor reference - I normally wear a 1X or a 2X (if I want something loose)- I'm either a 16/18 or an 18/20 I always need a 3X if I am purchasing from a 'Teen' brandI ordered 3X in this as I have been burned before on sizing when ordering online. The 3X is very generous in sizing and I probably could have gone to a 2X but this is perfect for what I want it for - which is coverup or lounging around my house. I would definitely recommend this dress and this brand - I feel you can be confident in the sizing information associated with the item.The material is NOT stretchy - so if you have large upper arms or large bust - do like I did and size up the design lends itself to looking just fine oversizedThis dress is sooooo cute!! Many complements I wore it to work. You can dress it up oe down. I wore it with black leggings. Very comfortable,. My only complaint is the tassels got tangled up inthe wash so the next time I just put a rubber band around the tassels and they didnt tangle. Also the seams ripped a little in the arm pit and the dress, about and inch in each place. I sewed it up with needle and thread. Its worth babying this dress cuz its so cute:)Got this dress along with another Riviera Sun Dress. I absolutely love it. It fits very true to size with a little room to spare. It feels so light and flowy perfect for a day when you don't want to try so hard but want to look pretty. I haven't washed it yet to see if it will bleed like the rest of the reviews explained. I will hand wash for sure. But for the price this is a great summer dressThis item can not be worn as a dress...way too short! Don’t bother unless you want to wear it with pants...but why would you?
